Finished-product evaluation · U.S. stock support

Qualify white masterbatch in the finished PP or PE product.

A concentrate’s appearance is one checkpoint. Follow the candidate from compounding through letdown into the film, molded part or other product the customer actually sells.

Current grade, quantity and release timing are confirmed for your request.

Evidence and next step

What the reference supports—and what your trial must establish.

DuoKem’s plastics presentation identifies masterbatch and compounding as evaluation routes. Supplier PP plaque references do not establish finished masterbatch production performance. This page sets out a proposed qualification plan; dispersion, output and cost benefits must be measured in the customer’s process.

Finished products to discuss

  • White concentrates for PP molded parts
  • White PE concentrates for film
  • Compounder-led opacity optimization

Qualification gates

  • Dispersion and filter-pressure behavior
  • Melt flow, output and compounding stability
  • Opacity and color at identical letdown and thickness
  • Final-product mechanical and surface requirements
  • Cost per accepted finished product, including yield

A practical sample plan

Control. Staged screen. Finished-product decision.

  1. Define the incumbent controlRecord Carrier resin, incumbent TiO₂, concentrate loading, additives, letdown, compounding conditions and final end use.
  2. Agree the candidate and test planConfirm grade fit, current documentation, availability and staged starting levels with Henneke Holdings and the supplier.
  3. Run matched comparisonsUse the same process, geometry and measurement method. Record all acceptance gates and processing or yield effects.
  4. Decide on technical and commercial fitConfirm cost per accepted product and the next production-validation step. A supplier screening example is not a guaranteed outcome.
